Victor visited the the department in July 2011 and gave a two day workshop 'Introduction to Statistical Process Control' the purpose of which was to;
Understand basic concepts of SPC
Understand different causes of variation
'In Control' and 'Out of Control'
Types of control charts
Produce and interpret variables control charts
Implement issues
The workshop was greatly received by all attendees and considered a valuable use of time.

Josep is one of our collaborators from Barcelona, who has worked for many years on the self-monitoring of INR projects has registered to undertake a part time DPhil in Oxford and is supervised by Dr Rafael Perera.
